We’ve travelled a bit. Not as much as some, but more than others. We think some of the places we’ve visited are worth a mention, and we’d encourage you to visit them yourself, so you can see why we loved them so much…
(and given time, we’ll describe the best and worst bits about each place… watch this space!)
We’ve been to NZ twice; once in 2011 and again in 2016. Both times we went for just shy of three weeks, and hired a camper van. We did the South Island on our first visit, and the North (and the best of the South) Islands on our second.
Debbie spent six months touring and working in Australia, as many youngsters do.
We’ve been to the USA four times, most recently in 2014, when we drove from Phoenix AZ to San Francisco CA in a Ford Mustang.
The Dominican republic, Barbados, St Maarten, Tortola, St Lucia, Antigua, Dominica
Only while passing through. A huge place, with even huger buildings (is huger even a word?)
Bali – a backpackers paradise. Beautiful beaches, amazing hotels and fascinating forests
Don’t get me started…!
Hot, hot, hot!
One of the faves – Lanzarote, just feels right (as long as you just want to go somewhere to chill). Also been to Tenerife, Gran Canaria & Fuerteventura
Creete, Corfu, Halkidiki
France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland
Bulgaria, and the former Yugoslavia
